It took me almost 40 years, but I finally heard this piece performed elsewhere, and learned its name and composer! It's The Earl of Essex's Galliard by John Dowland. (Also known by its first lyric, "Can She Excuse My Wrongs") And frankly, this arrangement (by Ed Bogas, probably?) is still my favorite. All the "real" arrangements I can find now are too frilly to my ear since I first heard it on my Mac. There's something about good computer music arrangements of classical pieces that really captures the spirit of the pieces!

That game, Pandora's Palace was no pushover. Nobody ever gotten farther than the 3rd Stage. It drove me nuts not being able to beat it like you did. 😧

I remember these days. I was never one of the lucky kids who had one of these great handhelds. (I had the Sears version of Coleco football lol). So instead I would "design" my own on paper and fantasize about playing it.

I saw this on Nickelodeon's "Mr. Wizard's World" in the 1980's. It was a fair take on "The Joker's Wild" main game.

One of the few Coleco Vision Games where they got the music accurate to the Arcade Version.

Who is crazy enough to write a version that runs on a 3d printer controller and uses it's LCD display to play it...the version is working like the ORIGINAL PACMAN (1980) , all graphics are pixel accurate, taken from the original files, and the best part: the 3d printer also works, but not at same time !!!, just click to choose "3D PRINT" or play PAC MAN... All the logic has been replicated, from the original code, but ported in c++ on a ARM MCU STM32F407, on a flashforge coreboard (3D printer controller)... Just need to work on the sound... And also it will be easy to add a HIGH SCORES page with memory of the best 10 or 20 games... I could have downloaded a clone app, or even better an emulator for PC or MAC with the actual code... But the fun of doing it from scratch... (3 days NON STOP, 3 or 4 hours of sleep!!!) So who is crazier than this !!! I will post a video as soon as I have completed the sounds... ( and i am working on it, as I wrote theses lines !!! )

The mixture of resolutions in these early Midway games always struck me as a bit weird.
